VENOM

WUDFLY VENOM
VENOM is WUDFLY's sub-250g twin-motor digital FPV aircraft, built around an unconventional blended-wing design with a fully functional V-tail.

Developed through aerodynamic simulation, multiple prototypes and extensive flight testing, VENOM explores a different approach to small fixed-wing aircraft. Its swept wings, twin tractor motors and V-tail work together to create a compact aircraft with a distinctive appearance and flying character.

Getting the configuration right has been a major part of the project. Wing geometry, centre of gravity, control surface authority and V-tail behaviour have all been investigated and refined through successive design and flight-test iterations.

The result is a unique little FPV aircraft that brings something genuinely different to the flying field.

Before you build
This is a digital aircraft package, not a physical kit.

You will need a 3D printer, the recommended electronics, basic soldering ability and experience configuring FPV fixed-wing aircraft.

VENOM uses a more involved control system than a conventional flying wing, with elevons and V-tail ruddervators working together to provide pitch, roll and yaw control. The reference configuration brings the electronics, control mixing, centre of gravity and initial flight setup together in one package.

If you enjoy building and flying unusual aircraft, VENOM offers an opportunity to put an unconventional aerodynamic design in the air yourself.
