Drone Rules & Local Guidance
Search official and authority-backed local drone guidance, airspace tools, national aviation authority pages, and flight permission portals.
This is a practical resource for finding where to start before flying in a new country.
Search here for local guidance.
USA and Switzerland are shown as examples. Use the search box to find the official starting point for your own country.
Find your country.
Type a country name, abbreviation, or region. Suggestions appear as you type. Pick a result to show the relevant official links.
Only the selected country is shown, so the page stays clean instead of becoming a huge directory wall.
Before you fly.
- Check the official national aviation authority page or airspace tool for the exact location.
- Check temporary restrictions, NOTAMs, military activity, events, nature reserves, cities, airports, and local rules.
- Confirm whether permission, notification, registration, insurance, or authorisation is required.
- Respect local altitude, distance, privacy, protected-site, and operational limits.
- Do not rely on DJI, mobile apps, or third-party tools alone unless the authority explicitly approves them.
- If in doubt, do not fly until the restriction is clear.
This resource prioritises official national aviation authorities, ANSP/AIS systems, and authority-backed drone planning tools. Where no clean public airspace tool was verified, the country is shown as an authority fallback rather than pretending a perfect source exists.
